HOW TO WRITE NOTE CARDS:


Source Details:

* The information on the front of the card needs to be detailed enough that someone else can find the exact page that you used. That means, you must write out the ENTIRE web address. Ex: http://education.nationalgeographic.com/education/encyclopedia/coal/?ar_a=1

* You CANNOT just write “google.com” or a part of a web address.

* You must also include the title of the page. Ex: The title of the web page listed above is “Coal”

* You must include the author of the page.  Ex: The author of the web page listed above is “National Geographic”

* If available, you must include the date when the page was last updated.

* Explain exactly how the facts from the source relate to your science fair question.

* State all the facts you get from your source in direct quotes. Do not change the information into your own words, we will practice that in class.
